G K Swamy and his wife have conquered the odds to set up a school for poor children in an Uttarakhand village

At 60, G K Swamy (an economist by training and a consultant by profession) and his wife, Chinni, decided to call it a day. They wrapped up their life in Navi Mumbai, sold their only flat and moved towards the hills. They also decided they were done with earning money and needed to give back to society.
